Training and Education

We train you to train your dogs! Our program is based on helping our clients build the right foundation. From puppy manners, to general obedience, to problem solving behavioural issues, our one-on-one approach is tailored to meet your needs. We believe that building clear communication with your puppy or adult dog is the most important thing you can do for your dog’s growth, development and success within your “pack”.  

We use a balance of correction and positive reinforcement, as well as many other tools and techniques needed.

• The general commands we teach, depending upon your needs, are your dog’s name (name recognition), look, sit, down, stay/place, touch, come, heel.

• We provide education and direction on crate training, toilet training, leash manners, impulse control, socialization, confidence building (for both you and your dog), and general problem solving.

• We work in and our of your home to help you teach your dogs to generalize your training to new environments whether it’s the park, a store or the home of a family member or friend.

• We teach you how to motivate the behaviours you want and discourage the behaviours you don’t want in a confident, firm, clear, and calm manner, that results in better decision making by your dog.

• We teach you how to read yours and other dogs’ behaviour so you can be a better advocate for your dog to help avoid negative experiences.

• You will gain the education, confidence and leadership skills needed to create a trusting, yet respectful relationship full of love and loyalty.
